Martin Acres is considered one of the last ‘affordable’ places to live in Boulder. Located by US 36, Boulder turnpike, Broadway, and Table Mesa this area is popular with investors as well. Homes are on the smaller side, many are 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranches, and lots are fairly small compared to other areas in Boulder. There are several parks nearby as well, including Martin Park and Bear Creek.
Although located in South Boulder, residents of Bear Creek still enjoy ease of access into the downtown area through a myriad of bike paths. The Bear Creek bike path is well known and used frequently by other Boulderites as well. There are lots of restaurants, shops, and coffee shops nearby. It’s also located close to CU, making it a popular area for students to live.
Be careful about finding a home located on a busy street in this part of town. Table Mesa is a busy road and will hurt future appreciation if you find yourself close to this, or other busy roads nearby. Homes start in the $500’s.
